He won't allow half of that to LSU unless you break a long one in garbage time. Ags by 2 scores easily.

He might now allow 1/3 of that, but will still lose

2625 total yards allowed in only 6 games so far and tied with UTEP for 98th Defense in the nation.
Also the Great Chavis broke the single game record for most yards given up in a game in A&M history 684

What is wrong with either? Its not like LSU is above it. They tried like hell to get Knight.

Another week, another fan base hoping against all odds. TxA&M is terrible on defense. I've never seen a team tackle as poorly as you guys did against Tennessee. That was pathetic fundamental football. I know you want to believe this article is true but the numbers and the eye test say your defense sucks. If they were any good at all they would not have let a bad team like UT get almost 700 yards offense. WTF?

Is it a collapse to lose tot he #1 team?

Its not like we're losing NMSU or MSU. At worst we're 8-1 heading in to the Ole Miss game.

There are telltale signs Chavis has Texas A&M's defense on the right track despite the Aggies giving up 684 yards, the most in school history, two weeks ago to Tennessee in a 45-38 double-overtime win.

good for y'all

No denying he is a good coach, he certainly has his flaws and his schemes can get frustrating at times, but no doubt he is an upgrade for 90% of cfb teams out there

We're better on the field than you are as a poster.

An admittedly low bar to clear.

By allowing 700 yards of offense to Tennessee

Oh wait

Forcing 7 TO's makes up for it. I'll take TO's, Red Zone D, TFL's and Scoring D over yards given up all day every day. You can get some yardage on A&M and even score some but A&M is going to make plays on D as well.

6-0, which is better than you predicted preseason.

So you probably aren't a good judge of where we are today.
