ESPN Losses Accelerating

quote:

In July, for instance, ESPN saw its lowest ratings in the network’s 41-year history as “WokeCenter on steroids” takes over.

I personally haven't turned it on since they cancelled the SEC Tournament.

One of the worst business decisions since PF Changs decided to offer the same food at Pei Wei for a cheaper price while letting Panda Express dominate them in Chinese Fast Casual.

Probably has nothing to do with the lack of actual sports the last 4 months

Same here. I did watch some replays and the LSU 2019 season deal on SECTV though.

Who would have thought that a sports network would lose subscribers during a period without live sports?

Did you read the article?

That's what I thought.

Indeed, the six percent decline ESPN saw in the third quarter this year is just part of the declines suffered in every quarter at since the third quarter of 2016.

Maybe their subscriber losses have to do with a Country where many folks are in Financial Crisis, and choose to cut luxuries like Cable TV, especially since their is very little original programming due to most of the TV Studios being shut down because CV19. So if there's no original programming, very little live sports, and mass financial crisis, wouldn't it be expected that homes throughout America try to cut a $125 to $175 bill from the budget?

Maybe those losses are due to something other than woke-ness?

BTW , I just heard that action movies based on Comics are NOT doing well financially this Summer Movie Season, I wonder why?

Your comments are similar to my Movie revelation

Wow an all sports channel didn’t do well when there were no televised sports?

Only one worse was Blockbuster not buying Netflix when given the chance.

Those are my comments, I made a mistake and started typing MY comments in the quote box and was too lazy to go back and remove the quote box

Why would a guy like me with plenty to say care about stealing another guy's words?

These people gonna believe whatever they want. Personally, haven’t watched ESPN since sports were canceled lol I’m sure that’s most of the country.

ESPN: WE hate your racist sexist trans/homophobic guts and we want to replace all of America's most valuable traditions, principles and ideals with something some Yale Black Studies department professor wrote in the New York Times last week. Sit down and listen to moral lectures about Collective Race Guilt by our endless array of disgruntled Marxist race baiters.

Normals: Ok cool. I'm out.

ESPN: I wonder why ratings are so low? Maybe we should do a ten part series narrated by Jemelle Hill on The Transatlantic Enslavement of Africans, The Birth of Radical Black Sociology, Traditions of modern African Sport , African Trans Pride and the Struggle for Wokeness in a White Racist Constructed World.

"30 for 30: Jackie Robinson, the Original Uncle Tom*"

*after some white, liberal arts majors interning at ESPN finds out Jackie endorsed Richard Nixon.

If most people here are like myself, they see you posted it. Don’t read it and immediately down vote it. Nobody here really cares what you say as it is mostly convoluted BS
