It must really suck to be an Auburn fan. They just can't enjoy real success without any hitches.

e2drummer, don't sweat it yet. Your bolded emphasis doesn't mean they relayed actual recordings, just that they told the SEC what they allege the content was. There is NOTHING listed in the linked article or the screenshot that says there are recordings...I didn't see the piece, so *maybe" they said it on air...but I don't know why a massive detail like that wouldn't be in the article.

Surly in this day and age, morons would be smart enough not to talk about this shite on any phone or email. Srsly?
If this is true then this father and son are idiots of epic proportions.

No one ever says they have the tapes and plays them at the same time. Never happens. Got to build the suspense.
Announce that tapes exist, let the story build and then release tapes so story can continue growing.
True or not, this thing has exploded and flung shite all over Auburn. Press conferences with coaches and players won't clean it up either.
If I was at Auburn, I'd vote for sitting Cecil and Cam down with Bob Ley and let them tell their story and address points in detail and at a more conversational pace.

This could have some serious legs. Tons of recruiting conversations are likely recorded for the protection of the schools.
That way if someone says the kid was offered shite, the conversations can be played back as evidence the school is innocent.
Also, if they were stupid enough to leave these on voicemails, then I think the MSU coaches/recruiters would likely have been smart enough to save them with a time stamp and phone number. It could be corroborated with phone records.
Again, The NCAA didn't get involved with this until September, so I don't see what all the shock is here by Auburn fans. The SEC offices is likely compliant with Auburn in this shite.

If this is true it'll be on par with the night Kiffin left

Mississippi State compliance officials relayed the alleged conversations to Southeastern Conference compliance officials in January, according to two other sources close to the football program.
Here's the part that interests me (other than how buttfricked Auburn is going to be). The SEC had information on this and seem to have done nothing. NCAA going to lay a beatdown on their asses?
Dear NCAA,
It was the SEC Officiating Crew that covered up the relayed messages. Drop the hammer of Thor on their crooked asses.
Thanks,
Rest of the SEC

You're more optimistic than I am. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to believe that this is all fabricated, but even I know that we're probably in trouble.
Thanks for trying to make me feel better.

It didn't take long for Auburn Athletic Dept. to respond to this latest rumor

So which Auburn fan is defending this information?

AU fans have really pissed me off, much like Tenn fans did with Kiffin. Take up for him, and blame his mistakes on other Coaches and Universities. Blind support is the best!

Did it say that the Auburn coaches KNEW the tapes were given to the SEC? It's in Miss State's interest not to let it out so that Auburn might screw themselves deeper. Cold-blooded.
