So Kelly was not equal to those other coaches. We have reached the point that you are bragging about your coach winning less games than other coaches. You guys bragging about Kelly being a consistent double digit underdog in major bowl/playoff games and having such a worse record than opponents is just bizarre. The reason that overall record is so lopsided ia that Kelly lost every. single. one. of. those. games. You are bragging about your coach being a tier b coach.

Your excuse used to be that Kelly was hanstrung at Notre Dame. But now that Freeman is having more success than Kelly that narrative doesn’t play anymore. LSU fans are flailing for anything floating just to stay afloat.

Today one LSU fan has tried to convince us that losing 5 season openers against “big name” teams (and Mississippi State) is better than winning 5 openers against G5 teams.

Now LSU fans are trying to convince us that Kelly being a consistent double digit underdog in what are supposed to be evenly matched bowl games is a positive.

The success of Freeman and Notre Dame combined with the downward trajectory of Kelly and LSU has some here in panic mode.
