*outstanding running game, with not just Fournette but Guice
*passing game was actually better than it appeared
Lsu was 25th in total QBR last year
*offensive line has a lot of depth
*defensive line is loaded
*maybe the best secondary in the country
*special teams last year were worst since 2006 - predict that they will return to the norm for a Miles-coached team

Not possible. Every year I'm told repeatedly that ESPN hates LSU.

Also, what new depths have you guys sunk to that this*, gets translated to "ESPN likes LSU as national champion favorite."

They keep hiring former LSU players. Those guys have obviously infiltrated the company, and modified their world views.

There are 1, maybe 2 verifiable "facts" in your argument. The rest are a useless collection of shitty opinions.

Well... lets say that this year LSU doesn't feast on the weak teams and then collapse like a ho that stole from her pimp in the tough games.

You were, lets not kid ourselves, crap offensively and defensively in the big games last year.

Could LSU win it all next season? Absolutely. They have to improve on offense by quite a bit, they have to tighten up their defense, and they have to develop some heart as a team and fanbase.

Y'all gave up last year and sucked arse down the stretch. LSU was very much in the game against Arkansas last year and collapsed.

A gutsy LSU team that can take a loss without turning to complete dog shite can compete for a playoff bid. I like your chances better then anyone in the SEC other then Bama, including the Vols... if you play with heart.

Yup. Everyone on this board wanted us to keep our coach though

Another year is going to show improvement for Harris physically and mentally. LF7 isn't going anywhere anytime soon

quote:

they have to tighten up their defense

Dave Aranda will do more than tighten up that diarrhea of a defense next season

quote:

they have to develop some heart as a team and fanbase

18 returning starters will have to nut up if they want to have a chance to win it all.

I agree. They have to play with a greater focus. Leslie has one shot
