The rivalry will still be there even if it's not being played on the field. See their fans coming on here trying to set the record straight as evidence of that. As long we are living around and working with each other it will exist.

Oh. So, it's Tradition to include dropouts. Good for the founder and you current kids.

What a stupid fight to pick.

I remember you back from the Conference Expansion board as being far and away the most butthurt poster about our invite. Glad to see that's still going on several months later. How pathetic.

He's a piggie. Telling him about the honor and sacrifice of defending this country isn't really important to them. Just ask them how eager they are to trample on our memorial for students who lost their lives in combat.

You're right. I could give two shits about your fescue. When Arlington Cemetary cares about theirs, you can care about yours. Got it, BQ?

My wife is an Aggie and so is her sister. They hate TU more than anything on the planet.

Ah good old academic smack talk. The first sign that your particular schools team didn't have a good year on the field. Gotta love it when you see it broken out.

Good effort but scroll back a couple pages and see who brought it up first.

True. But the rivalry was still there just not played. Also it stands as one of the oldest rivalries in football, just not the most continually played. Look at Aburn v. Bama, they lost years of football but that rivalry was always there. Even though I am a Die Hard LSU fan i would hate to see your rivalry game with tu go the way of the do-do. Like i was sad to see our rivalry against Tulane end (completely different circumstance)

The issue is one old man from Kansas being butt hurt. It will come back when he's gone. First off, it is one that has existed in all sports for a very long time, and the AD at tu will only be succesful at keeping the football series unplayed as long as it is also applied in all sports. I can't see that lasting. Maybe we play in the Cotton Bowl in a couple years, and the game ignites the fire in the teasip Athletic Department. Who knows?

FIFY. NEVER capitalize t.u. It implies they are a real university instead of the glorified liberal arts hippie camp that they really are.

ETA: Though I will give them for their collection of historical artifacts, such as the first photograph ever taken in human history and one of only 23 complete Gutenberg Bibles. And the personal papers of Walter Cronkite (my g/f was very sad when he passed--she watched him on the CBS Evening News growing up).

If you do something that is considered disrespectful to Arlington Natl. Cemetery, you will have a couple of marines going in on you dry with the quickness. aTm might not be my fav. school but respect the memorial of those who gave their lives so you can talk shite anonymously on the internet

All are welcome to walk on ANC's grass. Are you an AMU Former dropout and that was too much to infer?

And you know what else? I'll wear a hat in Kyle. I'll laugh at the dead and rotting bones of who should be mutts but aren't. I'll whizz a Lemon Chill lid at some unsuspecting kids face. I'll sit down when I GD please and stand in front of an old woman just for spite. I'll wear a sombrero and blow a vuvuzela in the MSC pizza parlor and/or gift shop. I'll kick pennies off Sullen Ross' Hushpuppies. I'll NOT go to the Chicken and I will NOT eat Freebirds and instead dine at Chipotle.

The hate is strong....

Arguing about the SWC and glory days with Jackie is pointless. We gotta prove it on the field..

Meanwhile...

Nope. And my statement was to the fact that AMU regards walking on the grass as disrespectful, just like pissing on a grave at ANC is disrespectful. Both actions if caught will get you an arse whoopin. As far as sitting standing and hat wearing, IDGAF. Do what you like just don't get all butthurt when you know that it will cause problems, then bitch about it.
To make it simple for you: fire is hot, don't put your hand in fire if you don't want to get burned, and don't piss and moan about getting burned by fire when you know it is hot.

I too have found Sao to be an uncommonly butthurt A&M hater on these boards. He reminds me of somebody....like a Baylor fan or a Longhorn. I am having a hard time believing he really is a piggy.

And hooks are sharp. Don't bite them if you can't take the eventual filet knife.

look i dont doubt a fight may ensue, but if they really think walking on grass is comparable to pissing on a grave, then they are quite simply retarded.

Not on the grass, on the student war memorial grass. If someone has that old video of an aggie pulling his sword after someone walks on kyle field that would pretty much sum up how gung-ho they are about it. It is just out there as a warning.

Then compare it to not standing during the national anthem and placing your hand on your heart at a military funeral.

It is a campus building where the grass is part of the memorial. Not walking on the grass is a rule. Just because you hate all things Aggie, doesn't mean you have to disrespect fallen soldiers in the process, who were first and foremost, Americans. Of all the Aggie bashing, making fun of the MSC grass is one thing I've never understood.

Please get your panties out of a wad and point to where i hate all things aggie or disrespect fallen soldiers. I pointed out to another poster that walking on grass is never, let me repeat that, NEVER comparable to pissing on a grave.
