Exactly. Completely agree with you here. That's why I linked the youtube vid of the Klan that day in Oxford... Was not the "safe haven" for them that people try to project it to be. Not at all.

If by a "few years" you mean "over a decade" than sure. Ole Miss isn't really all that different than any other school in the SEC when it comes to the issue of race. It's history shapes it's perception.

So everyone with a confederate flag is racist?
I'm against the flag and wish people wouldn't bring them to the grove, but to say that having one puts you in 1962 mindset is about as dumb as it gets.

That's why I'm against the flag, but to try to tell me everyone who has one only does for racist purposes is laughable.

That was a solid 30 for 30. It was a black eye on the State of Mississippi, but an incredible badge of courage and resilience on that great football team.
