It's definitely not weak. Against UM we only had one sack because of how we played. We weren't trying to get sacks, we were trying to just contain Denard.

In the other games no one player has really been dominating. Everyone is getting in on the fun. Last year it was mostly Upshaw and Gentry, which is sort of how we knew we had a fairly good pass rush. This year our pass rush may be better.

One of the most important, though oft overlooked stat in football on any level, pro or college Coaches are always talking about getting off the field on 3rd down, even though it gets less air time than other stats.

We won't know until the end of the season after Bama has played some decent SEC offenses.

Like your 'decent' offense that put up an astonishing 7 points against a real SEC defense...you mean that kind of SEC offense?

This happens very often, if you took Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, or Florida defense and put them with West Virginia's Offense they would be middle of the pack in terms of statistics. They score so fast that the defense stays on the feild so long.

Have you compared times of possession to make this claim about WV and the other teams you mentioned?

If both teams are scoring a ton their defenses are out their more often but for approximately the same amount of time. No?
