So the dude that paid him turned around and then turned him into UGA compliance. What kind of sense does that make?

Which is why you pay them

Wow we should have joined the SEC earlier. Our worst team in recent memory starting our 5th WR an shite and we are still going to win the East.
Had we not been decimated in year one it'd be 3 in a row

Let the best players go straight to the NFL
That all most want anyways, so let it be
It wil be best for CFB and them too
I'd rather watch lesser talented CFB players that are somewhat real student athletes. Than what the heck is taking place now because that's what the spirit of CFB is suppose to be about. We might as well make CFB professional right now and this farce with CFB has gone on long enough. Only us fans can change things though and I don't see that happening. Just like in Politics. Many are so ate up with their side winning, that's all that matters no matter the means.

I agree 100%. We'd get used to the slight drop in talent after 1 season.

Which is why you pay them or allow them to get a job
There is zero way these kids can have a job. Literally no chance.
The commitment to school and athletics is way to high.
They do get a stipend, currently, it just needs to be higher.
They also need to be provided food, 24 hours a day.
Millions are poured into these programs annually, for the life of me I do not understand why they're not fed like kings.
There should be meal programs with local restaurants, allowing for late night food ect
Programs with local groceries, to allow certain monies to be only spent on food.
There should be breakfast, lunch, and dinner on campus for these athletes, everyday, 365 days a year.
This along with a well thought out financial payout at the end of their careers would go a long way in legitimizing a broken system.

A developmental football league can't exist.
18-19 year old kids are not ready for the NFL, physically or mentally.
Fixing the current system is the best bet.
Allowing kids to go straight to the NFL out of high school is not the right answer.

Yep, I would still love the game
Shoot, let the NFL start their own farm league because them using CFB for is past getting old. The NFL not letting these kids move on is wrong. We'd still love the game just has much without the greatest HS players because we love the program and the players who play for that program. Problem is the NFL knows their farm league might not make the millions CFB or the NFL does. That's their problem. That doesn't mean the NFL gets to use CFB for a farm league pretty much. Some great CFB players never make it to the NFL because they get hurt, and I can think of many other reasons to stop pretending CFB isn't a professional NFL farm league. Darn it, bring real CFB back.....
If Gurley was allowed to make the money he should
This wouldn't even be an issue right now

it sucks these kids have to do shite they know they could get suspended for, just to have a few bucks to go out and have a good time, or eat out.
Maybe they could just cut down on the expensive tattoos?

It's no wonder our citizens are taken advantage of by the government and corporations.
Most of you are pathetically incapable of thinking things through.
