What did I miss?!?

As tide hoops was down 14 or so, he started a Game Thread, name dropped you, and then watched as Alabama went turnover-less from that point onward in route to a victory against the #1 team on the road. As an exclamation point, he changed the thread in hopes that people would stop making fun of him (we won't)

Simply not true. I started a game thread and updated the score continuously. That’s what game threads are.

Read the thread, I was hoping Bama would win and they came through for me. Helps the conference.

SP+ is a predictive metric, not a resume metric. Not sure why Bill Connelly is even using that.

Even so, his SP+ formula didn’t even have 2019 LSU ranked #1 in 2019 after going 15-0

So yea, this is definitive as frick

Because Bill Connelly is a drooling goober who went to Missouri. I'd get more outraged about this article if I respected the writer and his method of analysis.

2020 uga is severely overrated. Played 3 rosters with talent all year clemson(slap fight) bama(got stomped) bama again(won rematch against depleted offense in 4th quarter)

Let me know when Alabama (or ANY team) beats 7-top 10 teams in the same year

Damn, we've gotten up to seven Top 10 teams now?

Final AP Poll 2019

1. LSU [N/A]
2. Clemson [CFP]
3. Ohio State [NO]
4. Georgia [SEC]
5. Oregon [NO]
6. Florida [W6]
7. Oklahoma [CFP]
8. Alabama [W9]
9. Penn State [NO]
10. Minnesota [NO]

Looks like two in the regular season to me.

Mac & company averaged higher points per game and had a much better defense to complement them. It is what it is.

GOAT status confirmed by the world wide leader.

So Georgias NC doesn’t count because Bama was missing two starting CBS and two starting WRs?

You Alabama fans sure do/did crow about it in the immediate aftermath.

The definitive data point to tell you all you need to know about the 2020 college football season.

Texas A&M’s conference record by year

2013 4-4
2014 3-5
2015 4-4
2016 4-4
2017 4-4
2018 5-3
2019 4-4
2020 8-1
2021 4-4
2022 2-6

Now I’m no data analyst but…..

Yeah people go crazy over 2019 LSU but they aren’t near as balanced as other playoff teams. 2020 bama, 2019 Clemson all have great defense. However 2019 lsu defense is a step below. That’s the difference. Even if 19 LSU has the best offense out that group. They would struggle more against the 2018/2020 champs defense than the 2018/2019 offense would against that tiger defense

LSU was 5-5 in 2020.

What does the data say about that?
