The biggest challenge in a tough road game (especially in the SEC) is the big hostile crowds and having to execute your offense under intense crowd noise.

Going an entire season without having to play a single game against a large hostile crowd is a big advantage for an offense.

Can anyone argue that its not?

Can anyone argue that any other team in the country didn't play with the same advantage going for them that year? Yet Alabama was the one that won the national championship.

2021 Georgia team > 2022 Georgia team

2021 had a generational defense and tons of NFL prospects. I don't even know how this is debatable. This year's team isn't on par.

It's almost like ESPN knew how to get an insane amount of clicks and debate.

This ranking is kind of ridiculous. It's to hard to make comparisons of such elite teams without them playing each other.
2020 Alabama was something special, but 2020 will always have an asterisk next to it. No home field advantage, shortened season, Opt outs, Change of offseason schedule per university.
Alabama was the best team of 2020, but how good were they in comparative to other years teams? Too hard to tell. *****2020

This offense is more dangerous.
2021 was run to pass. Playaction.

2022 can do either. Pass to run. Run to pass. Run power. Run zone. Screen a defense to death. Air raid a defense to death.
The defense is worse. But a point or so worse from an all time defense (still among the best in the past 10 years).

This would be true if Alabama wasn't playing with the same deck of cards as everyone else was that season. The playing field was the same all across the board and the same rules that applied to the various schools in the FBS that season also applied to Alabama.
