Serious response here - you people realize how idiotic the "play a good team" argument is, right?

2019 (Week 1-3)
Georgia Southern @ LSU : 7:30 PM EST
Tulane @ Auburn : 7:30 EST
UT Martin @ Florida : 7:30 PM EST
Eastern Michigan @ Kentucky : 7:30 PM EST
Kent State @ Auburn : 7:00 PM EST
Lamar @ Texas A&M : 7:00 PM EST
NW State @ LSU : 7:30 PM EST
SEMSU @ Missouri : 7:30 PM EST

If you are going to troll, at least troll in the grey areas. Don't be idiots.

Why were no Bama fans coming to the defense of Mississippi State that had a game on Saturday afternoon that was played in even worse heat than Bama will be facing? Does Bama deserve more consideration than State?

Why the hell do we need to worry about Miss St? If you are so worried about Miss St, why don't you trade one of your many night time spots with them?

I'm not reading 7 pages.

Do you think there is a conspiracy against Bama?
Or do you think the TV marketers have a different idea than you do about what the national/regional market wants to watch?

I'm not sure how that is really possible as we kicked off last weekend literally within 30 minutes of eachother and Tuscaloosa and Starkville weather is basically exactly the same.............

But, if we want to use State as an example, sure

2017
vs Louisiana Tech : 6:30 PM

2018
vs Stephen F Austin : 6:30 PM
vs ULL : 6:30 PM
vs Louisiana Tech : 6:30 PM

Don't think anybody thinks it is a conspiracy. Do think that we have a grievance and we are bringing it up in hopes that we will get 1 of our 2 early season crap home games to be played at night in the next couple years.

Pretty simple.

It's more than just that though. Those teams typically don't have attendance issues like we are seeing at Alabana.

Think about it from the people at the TV networks.

An empty stadium isn't going to get people watching. And let's be honest, most Alabana fans could use some sweating.

Oh bullshite, LSU fans cry when they don't get night games because you guys think it gives you an advantage.

Since 1960, LSU is 201–59–3 (.773) at night in Tiger Stadium compared to a 20–22–3 (.476) record during the day over that span.

Not even a winning record in day games, and talking shite.

It's not just 12 PM games (11 PM out time), it's literally never playing these September games at night. Ever.

In a place where it is routinely 95+ degrees with a Heat Index of 100-110.

When everyone else in our division with similar weather has at least 1, many 2, of those early season bad games at night.

Seems like a fair request to ask for 1 a year or every couple years.

No need to. LSU is special. Maybe if Bama hadn’t embarrassed the conference in the NC game, they might not have gotten punished with an 11:00 game.

Obesity ranks:

Alabama 30.1% 35.7% 65.4% 16.7% 3
Louisiana 29.5% 35.5% 64.2% 17.2% 4

Louisiana just has more meth heads because your kids are fatter(17.2% vs 16.7%).

The funny thing is LSU losing so bad against Alabama lately they are taking that night game away.

CBS makes major shift in college football TV schedule, doesn't slot LSU-Alabama for primetime

But please, go on.

On a serious note, I've been to a day game in BDS. It seemed like there was plenty of shade and it was relatively cool.

It was November... but the sun was still shining.

No doubt that is true. We haven’t held up our end of the bargain. But we were not the conference representative on the national stage.

And of course you understand I am just joshing with you. Nobody wants to play 11:00 games, even when it isn’t brutally hot. Can’t really blame Saban for trying, but somebody is going to have to play in that slot. I am actually surprised LSU has played so few times at 11:00.

I guess my point is that you are expecting to be treated differently than every one else. And you honestly don't deserve that.

UGA has gone several seasons with 6 noon games.
UGA has gone seasons with only 1 night game on the year (in november).
I remember when Bama made a huge stink about opponent bye weeks before their games (we have 5 this season, but I dont see any crying).

Bitching about the heat isnt a good look. 3 weeks ago, you were desperate for college football. Now... not desperate when it is hot and sunny outside.

No offense. But you are spoiled and dont realize it.
