And for a guy that plead guilty to a crime, Chiz did very little to curb his actions.
1. You don't know what Chiz did. 2. It appears it was more than what Saban did to Upshaw for getting arrested for the same thing Smith was recently arrested for.

Same after the NC game.
Again, you don't know what Chiz did. Isolated, the play in the NC wasn't that big of a deal. The fact that it was E. Smith and he was on thin ice for his past actions, made it an incident that needed to be addressed. Who knows what the coaches did to address it.

Really? You know the details of what happened to compare the two? Enlighten me.

No comment Chiz has a tendency to bury his head in the sand a good bit. Cam, Cecil, Eric, Fairley.. keep the faith though.

Well, they were both arrested for an altercation with a female. One is still on the team and didn't miss a game, the other was suspended for his altercation with a male and then subsequently kicked off the team for his altercation with the female.

Did I miss anything?

You mean blind assault on a guy, to which he plead guilty.

That's one hardcore chick. She got punched by a 250lb linebacker and smiled. Do you see the black eyes and busted lips? That's her mugshot btw.

don't let facts get in the way of their made up shite. Leaving a guy in a pool of blood isn't as bad as pushing someone.

I've already told you numerous times ES was provoked that night and the guy got his arse kicked. Now he is trying to make money off of it. I don't know what else to tell you. I'm not an insider by any means but I know exactly what happened that night. If I had been the coach I would of probably just took the Saban approach and not of done anything for it.

At this point, I'm on the side of believing the guy who wasn't arrested and plead guilty as to whose fault it was.
I'm not taking sides. I am just saying you believe a version of events, not because you objectively think them to be true, but as a convenient excuse for you to disparage Auburn. Your hate for AU causes you to lack any objective view of the events or the source of the information you choose to believe.

No matter who started the fight, what E. Smith did was wrong. I just think it is disingenuous to make it out into a situation where he "almost murdered" a guy or "kicked an unconscious guy in the back of the head", etc.

All we know for sure is that he punched a guy in the back of the head and knocked him out. As I told you before, that is enough to know he effed up, there is no need to embellish just because you want to disparage your rival school.

Ok he didn't hit her. Just grabbed her by the hair and threw her down. That Courtney Upshaw is a swell guy.

You should try to view a thing or two in your life through lenses that don't relate to the college football team you prefer. It might be enlightening. If you continue down this path, you may turn into a Harvey Updyke one day.

Never said that.

"kicked an unconscious guy in the back of the head"

did say that, based on what someone who has seen the tapes said happened. This will come out when the civil suit goes to trial.

Wanting to discredit me because I stated something I heard, kinda shows your bias towards me, because I'm a Bama fan. Just because it isn't out in the public yet, doesn't mean I'm wrong. I have been wrong in the past and readily admit when I am. About this, though... I won't back off that statement.

Well, I guess until then, I will wait and see and just take the cops who witnessed the incident's word.

I have doubts that you know someone who actually saw the tapes, but maybe you do. My guess is it is someone on a message board making that claim or someone who knows someone who says they saw said tapes.

I was dogging on a dumbass. You came in and made this a big deal and tried to start arguing things off. I enjoy the board and the banter. I don't throw things, or cry when Bama loses, I don't go hunting down people to flaunt it when Bama wins. It's a game by kids. If you're feeling that things are going too far in this discussion, then perhaps you need to look in the mirror yourself, because I'm just stating some opinions. And if it's upsetting you that I have some on the subject, then I can't help that.

Guess all you want. If I post something that someone has stated on a board, I post a link and quote it, my history will prove this out.

Your turn.

Who is getting sued and who is not? Who had to go to the hospital and who had to go to jail? Who knocked who out in front of four cops?

I just provided a link to the facts about Upshaw that you asked for. You then accused me of defending Smith and called me a dumbass. How did I start it?

And you misquoted those links and made up things, like him hitting. Which is why I said your arguments were intellectually dishonest today. You've embellished your arguments in here today and made statements that are not backed up with facts in trying to disparage what Upshaw did and compare it to what Smith did.

How many "attempts" do you think it would take a 6'2" 250lb man to push a girl down if he was really trying?
