for you to say Landry isn't on Berry's level is kind of a slap in the face

Landry was good but if you are honest with yourself you will understand that Berry is an exceptional player that doesn't come along very often.

i actually almost feel bad for tennessee fans. a decade ago, yall had it all. now....

not only does your "inferior swamp rivals" own the series long record, we have also whooped yall 5 years in a row (winning the NC during 2 of those years), 2 more NCs in b-ball during that same stretch, and the only "insult" yall can muster-up is calling us new money and i use the term insult very loosely

Real surprise that these two words are used to describe Florida football, or not....

I will not discount UF football, they are in one of the most futile recruiting grounds and have success, the location may be shite but so is UT's.

Do you really want to bring up the performance of UF mens basketball? You win back to back and then what?

I know, but those are Berry's numbers if his senior season matched his career averages in every category. Like a 162 game average in baseball, even if you miss 20 games.

I'm an LSU fan and I will admit

Berry >>>> Landry

Landry's cover skills blow, but he should be at SS not FS

1 game advantage in the series gives you this, even though you have fewer national titles? Try again.

However, it's not shocking you struggle with these concepts. Considering in your mind, 6 Sweet 16s and 1 Elite 8=1 Sweet 16.

I don't disagree with you one bit about Berry. But, look at LSU's records when Landry was there:

13-1
9-3
11-2
11-2

And he was the best player on those defenses. I'm not saying Landry was better than Berry. But seriously, Landry was a special player at LSU.

And as far as memphisplaya's comment. He is no doubt referring to a few plays last year in which Landry was badly burned for biting on run fakes and leaving WRs wide open for TDs. I am not talking about whose gonna be a better pro. Although, I think too much is made over a few mistakes he made last year for being too aggressive. The only thing I said was Landry and Berry are the 2 best safeties I have seen play in the SEC. Berry had a more flashy career and got loads more hype. Hell, UT developed a heisman campaign for him. Landry didn't get the hype, but if you saw him play, you know how great he was. He helped LSU win 44 games and a BCS National Championship over 4 years.
