agreed. But I can't feel sorry for him because he will be so filthy rich for the rest of his life--it's ridiculous.

That was a monster play
I would say that Berry and LaRon Landry are the 2 best SEC safeties I have ever seen play. As an LSU fan, I saw Landry play a lot more, and he also played 4 years to Berry's 3, but I put them on the same level. And I consider Landry the best LSU defensive player I have seen in my lifetime.
I don't mean to disrespect anybody or leave anyone out with the above comment. I'm just saying those are the best 2 that I can remember seeing play in the SEC.

Hopefully we can get his brothers to UT.

His paycheck says otherwise.

Berry had a much better career, numbers and awards wise, than Landry. Landry also had a far superior front 7. Landry was very good, but on Berry's level.

Long way until signing day, I hope he stays with UT.

so you don't think he would've excelled in a different system (under one coordinator), with a better front 7, and a much better team overall??

Are you saying he didn't excel?
Kiffin Sr. took him out of the spotlight roll of making INTs but he showed his versatility.

To be fair, his freshman season, his defense had 4 Top 20 draft picks and made it to ATL. On his career he had over 500 int return yards and in his Jr. season he won the Thorpe. He was also a 3 Time AA. All in all, he did pretty well for himself IMO.

he was able to shine in some spots more b/c he was making up for others who were lacking. but he didn't win tSEC, didn't win a mnc, etc etc. i'm sure if he could do it all over again, he would've never commited to tenn, instead joining a contender

Peyton says STFU!
Peyton under Spurrier would have been a show to watch though, nobody would know who Wuerffel is if he played under Fulmer.

yeah, i can't imagine peyton running the "fun 'n gun"
but to his credit, peyton is probably the biggest gator hater on this planet. dude despises everything O&B

Yeah, it's not like following in his father's foot steps and playing at Tennessee and being on the field with his father pregame meant anything to him. You can tell he expressed regret to his family about his decision, that's probably why his brother is already committed to Tennessee.

I've had many arguments with UF fans about "product of the system" QBs, all they could say was Peyton had happy feet. Wuerffel could drop the ball on a dime if you were withing 20 yards, but Peyton playing in Spurrier's offense would have been awesome to see.

that's all real nice and everything, but you can't tell me a kid that competetive is satisfied going 5-7 (or whatever yall went) and playing for 3 years on an irrelevant team. kids like that want to win. PERIOD.

Was a quarter away from winning an SEC Championship his freshman year.

You have to pick your battles with UF fans, kinda like marriage, most of them are not worth it.

His stats and paycheck make me think he is VERY happy. Don't forget that UF is new money on the SEC scene an didn't do shite for the SEC in the early goings.
