Sabans gone.

Not sure if he's gone but it seems like there has been talk. No troll, but I've never seen Saban so lethargic in a game before like he was against Clemson. Almost like he hoped to get #7 and call it a career.

Really hope Tua takes a big step back next year, but not big enough to stop him from entering the draft

Completely new offense to learn + Venables showing how to confuse him + Jonah Williams and Jacobs leaving = Hopefully bringing Tua back down towards the mean

I just think he knew early on it wasn't going to be his night. The going for it on fourth down, on I believe it was from his own 35, in the second quarter screamed desperation.

Every time I see the name "Major Applewhite" I just think of some comedy sketch, or a terrible movie.

...Dan Enos also had offer from Georgia. He really likes Manny Diaz and his plans here. So UM wins out for Enos

Saban isn't Gandalf. He doesn't know magic. It's about good recruiting, good coaching hires, and accountability. And he's done an amazing job. however, no org can withstand the kind of brain drain Bama has seen in the past few years. You have to have some continuity, and if you don't it catches up. I think the end of this season
prove

Are you sure he doesn’t know magic?

Agreed. He coached nearly the entire game like he had his back against the wall. Because he did have his back against the wall. It was clear very early on that Clemson wasn't there to play patty cake.

Bama players were a little lackadaisical and he knew it. Clemson wanted revenge and was seeing red and he knew it.

And now he's getting to hear fans question him as a coach yet again and it pisses him off. Big time.

You really think one loss proved anything? Simply because this man has figured out how to retain young men's composure, and failed for one game? He know's voodoo, then.

I'm glad he won't be an SEC OC - he good. Clemson needs SOMEBODY to give them some competition in that crap league

Agreed. If we’re going to get our arse kicked hy Bama, I’d rather it not be by our former OC.

Yeah, the middle - bottom of the ACC is not too great. They're coming along, I think, though. I watched many snippets of ACC play, this past season, and they looked like they were trying to be more physical; as a league.

What bothers me most about Enos other than another OC search is that if he was hired it meant Bama was going to return back to the offenses that ground you down. I think Tua can perform in either system.

Of course he could. I'm pretty sure Saban is a huge fan of that style of offensive play, given he is a defensive homer. Physicality and consistency, break the will of the opposition. There are so many pros and cons, to both offenses; but in the end it boils down to execution.

Has Butch Jones officially joined Maryland’s staff?

I was told this week that Botch has decided not to join the Maryland staff. This was from a Bama booster.

People try to steal Dabo's OC's and Venables every damn year.

This is true. I am shocked Venables has stayed as long as he has. There is no telling how many HC jobs he has turned dow

There is no telling how lucky Auburn have been to keep Gus for so long too!
