LSU is in the first season under a new coach in a complete rebuild year. They had a third string WR playing QB in the bowl game.
The only individuals left over from the previous regime are the OLine coach, the medical training staff, and the equipment staff. Most reasonable lsu fans knew this year would be mediocre at best.
tamu is in year 5 under Jimbo. We were told constantly for the last 12 months about how great they would have been in 2021 with King at QB. They were a preseason top 10 team.
….and they lost at home to App State. They were physically dominated by a Sun Belt school. They lost the turnover battle, yard stick, time Of possession, and were doubled up on the number of plays. All of this with King, who was Jimbo’s hand-picked, 5 star QB, at the helm
We will absolutely continue to laugh at aggies.

That is what makes Arkansas football fun to me. Going in as the underdog and ruining someone's day, the way we have LSU several times especially.
I actually don't enjoy it as much when we're one of the top 10 teams in the rankings, it makes me a ball of nerves watching the games. Now, if we had a roster like Bama and UGA where we expect to win every game going into it, that's a different story and not nearly as stressful. But it also isn't nearly as exciting.
I love getting some respect on the national stage for once, it's a nice change of pace compared to where we were a couple years ago. And we have some players right now that can hang with anyone, just not a full roster of them like the "big boys" in the SEC.
As a fan I recognize that Arkansas will most likely never be the dynasty teams like Bama, Ohio State, UGA, LSU to an extent, etc. I almost prefer it that way, as far as my overall enjoyment of the game goes. The underdog spoiler role fits us, and this state, very well.
The cocky fans that sail on here are mostly just having fun and trying to get bites trolling
