I think Gunner is 50/50. He hasn't set a date when he is going to commit, I think hes just going to do it one day. If Kiel commits first and goes IU, then Winston will commit to Bama. If Kiel comes to Bama, Winston goes elsewhere.
So if everyone thinks Winston is all MLB, why do we want him to commit? If Kiel is wavering between us and Indiana, who is our next choice? Or do we sign a top qb in this class? Doesn't look to promising right now.

well with the new 25 rules, if Winston goes baseball but signs his LOI, does Saban lose out on one spot?

No he's not. Indiana if anywhere besides Alabama.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Why waste a spot for a MLB player?

I want to keep Alabama 5 stars in state.

Lambert I think.

I dont think its as important as most people do. A QB from this class is going to sit at least 2 years. Next year would the the logical class to bring in a big name.

That is just false

Sorry you think that committing to LSU makes a difference in a players MLB contract negotiation, it doesn't. As long as these players are 2 sport athletes and that is a loose term then they can spread their bonus out over 5 years instead of getting it up front. That is the big reason why most of the players you named got large bonuses

I will guarantee you that high MLB draft picks that play football, and sign with major program use said program to help in negotiating with a MLB team.

LSU is about to get slammed by the NCAA anyways

CharlesRobinson The NCAA has a 3 pm conference call today to discuss a committee on infractions decision regarding LSU. Stay tuned.

Of course they do, he was implying that going to LSU over Bama would make a difference in the negotiation, which it wouldn't

Yes, it's the hicks case that we uncovered and self reported.
McCarthy, a former LSU assistant, gave hicks extra benefits during a visit. He was swears it was just a ride to the airport. We fired McCarthy, let hicks transfer, and he never played a down in an LSU uniform. we then uncovered 4000+ illegal phone calls and reported that
We punished ourselves by docking us 4 scholarships over two years and reduced the number of calls/contact of recruits the NCAA allows

Gator said he is working camps with his friend. I guess in Texas. He's not a coach to my knowledge.
