That's what I'm talking about. That guy was obviously dumber than me if he thinks I'm blind.

Why do you say that? I'm not the one saying he wishes other posters here would die. That's way out of line. And in the same thread people are saying I'm the one that needs banned? Craziness.

This “gimmick system” would never hold up in the NFL except for a team like the Saints.
But, I’ll go with your logic and say it’s all the system. That makes me feel better about years to come when we just plug any QB in the system.

I'm not. I'm actually the opposite of autistic. Whatever that is.

I am sure you are just trolling but if you really believe that, you know nothing about football.

Speaking of, why do we continue using the words "generational QB" or "generational talent?" It seems like every damn year there's some new player come along the likes of which we will never see again -- until next year. Then we hear the same shite again. And again. And again.

You've never seen Drew Brees?
Name someone who isn't a system quarterback, because it's pretty clear that to you a "system qb" is just a quarterback of a team you don't like.

I think if you took a good look at my posting history you'd see I'm not a troll. That's just silly. I'm an Arkansas fan.

The term “system QB” is pretty ridiculous IMHO. Systems work because of the personnel they have and personnel excel because of the systems they are in. Which is why if you put Tom Brady or Drew Brees in an offense designed for a Lamar Jackson, they probably wouldn’t do as well. Or at least wouldn’t be utilized to highlight their strengths. You can have great talent, but be used wrong.

He's started for 2 years. He spent one year playing pretty well while developing and has spent this year fricking every team that's come within 100 yards of him. By your definition Cam is also in that category, given that he spent a few years stealing laptops and then 1 year playing great.

My contention is that Burro is getting his checks read to him from the sideline. That makes him a "system QB". Time will tell. You'll know how much it this season was Burro and how much of it was his coaches based on how well he does in the NFL.
The end result is somewhat irrelevant as far as this season goes. Because he's obviously good at making the throws he is told to make. They're playing for a title.
I'm gonna go out on a limb though and guess he doesn't have such a good day against a Venables defense though. Venables is very good at confusing the other team's QB.

Would love to see screen shots of your "high hit rate" on your sports book. I love separating idiots like you from your money. Feel free to join me in the sports book at Baha Mar that weekend if you've got the pockets for it.

I want to ban bet you so bad but you are to chickenshit to take anyone up on it! That’s how I know you are a troll and really don’t believe half the shite you say on here. You just like to entice posters to respond to dumb shite

Exactly. People started throwing around "system qb" in light of some of those air raid qbs at Hawaii, Texas Tech, and Houson (to name a few) who threw for 5000 yards but didn't sniff an NFL career, but that had more to do with the terrible competition those QBs played (along with throwing the ball 60 times per game) and not some "system" that was artificially propping them up.
A couple differences between Burrow and any notion of a "system qb":
Burrow plays in the SEC. As I've said, pretty much any "system qb" you want to bring up happened in the fricking MAC conference or the big12 in their peak "50-40 every game" years. You can maybe bring up Tim Couch (SEC) but even he wasn't a "system qb," he just had skills that didn't translate to the NFL and got fricked by being drafted by the browns.
LSU's offense is balanced. Most system qbs have the benefit of being in an offense that gives them 50 throws per game. LSU's offense is probably around 55/45 pass/run, he doesn't have the benefit of throwing every down to get his numbers.
