despite the records, the difference has been night and day under Mullen. Had the schedule not been so ridiculous we would be bowl eligible right now.

Why do you have a talent gap? Don't you smoke us every year in in-state recruiting?

I'd take the time to look it up from last year's signing day, but I have to get my beauty rest.

maybe that's true from last year because of all the talent mullen brought in, bumphis, russell, etc. croom was awful at bringing talent in.

If we can pressure Snead early, we'll take it. If we don't, Dex will kill us. All Ole Miss has to do is gear up for Dixon. Make Lee beat you. And there you go. I honestly don't feel good at all about this game. But every Ole Miss fan I talk to doesn't feel good about it eiter. And hardly anyone I have talked to is actually going to the game. State or Ole Miss

This game will be VERY Close and will depend on who turns over the ball least.

If State can pull the upset it will be a springboard for lots of Momentum going into the offseason and for next year.

Since State hasn't done anything against good defenses all year, we shouldnt' against ole miss. I have a hard time believing we will beat ole miss thanks to Sly Croom leaving us a 5-8 175lbs walk-on QB that was able to beat out his own QB recruits.

Thanks again Sly!!!

if the ole miss team that beat lsu shows up,then it's not even that close.however,i'm not so sure they can get up that much after such an emotional game. ole miss wins it in the 4th

MSU wins because Nutt always loses a game he isn't supposed to.

I think our team has that pretty covered with SC and Auburn, so this isn't a valid point.

With Tyson behind center on one side and Jev on the other, who knows what will really happen.

because state and OM are the exact same teams from last year.

Even without Peria Jerry, our defense hasn't changed that much over the past year. Offense, yes, but its still going to be a challenge for yall to score all those points.

In my defense of thinking that the game will be close, it is @ Starkville. Ole Miss is only 2-2 this season on the road with Losses to South Carolina and Auburn, while having trouble beating Vandy and Beat a Horrible Memphis team there to open the season.

Anything can happen in this game.

don't wanna mention his 2006 egg bowl stats huh?

Its a completely different defense. Our defense was terrible then, while our defense is just as good as it was last year.

Ole Miss has looked pretty bad on the road. They are gonna have to pass it to win. Which isn't exactly that difficult against state.
