You should hear how a lot of our common English names get absolutely butchered in pretty much every non-english speaking country overseas. We're not the only guilty ones.

It makes sense. You gotta get used to seeing surnames that are unfamiliar just like any other bit of language. But the initial shock can be hard to get past.
