Let's see now. LSU is
2-0 vs ark
2-0 vs ole miss
2-0 vs a&m
1-0 vs aub

the last two years. Looks like 66% of the west are his bitches.
State just lost their best coach ever.

LSU and EdO looking good VS five of their six west opponents.

Gotta admit it's sad as hell Arkansas, Ole Miss, and A&M haven't beaten Ed Orgeron at LSU yet.

I don't love it and I definitely know hiring O was stupid but he is your coach and Ensminger has coached football a very long time and will improve over what Canada did last year. I am merely suggesting to give the guy a chance. We just promoted our WR coach to OC and I hate it but I will give him a chance.

This is where you’d lose someone like me. We will never know if Canada was ever gonna work out with the way O was meddling in his offense and pushing him on the way out due to the inability to want to coexist with him.

He's the head coach at LSU and was previously the head coach at Ole Miss. Why don't y'all give him a damn chance instead? How would Bama fans react? Do you think y'all would react any better than Tiger fans?

I guess you do want LSU to give O a chance. I'm sure you would love LSU to give O a lifetime contract as a Alabama fan and so would the rest of the SEC.

Everyone heard him say best offensive coach in the country but what he really said is county, best offensive coach in the county. He did that, or top 5 in the county anyways...there may be a couple better offensive minds calling plays over at the Y for flag football

That’s a Butch Jones move.

Don’t be like Butch Jones.

Gotta say the OP was not what I expected based on the thread title.

This may be purely a troll thread, but Data usually likes to talk football, which is a good thing.

We have no other option. Some on here, like me, don't care for the O hire or the OC promotion, but love football. We'll express our thoughts, but let the season play out. Some on here feel the need to go on record that O sucks and keep pounding that drum beat until something is done about it. Some on here feel the need to continue pumping sunshine up all our asses like there's nothing to see here. The way I see it, this was a lazy hire by an incompetent AD that should have never had another job after what he did at Duke. Even though I see this as a train wreck in progress, I will still try to enjoy the season and hope for the best. But realistically I can see what's going on with the hires and directions other teams around us are taking and our situation doesn't look good, so there is lots of reason for concern...at least that's my two cents.

I just don't think it's fair and you guys should have known what he meant and it damned near happened. Let the man have a chance to correct his bad decision with Canada. He went for the biggest fish he could get just to make good on his promise when he should have just went with SE to begin with.

I wish all tiger fans would see things this way. I think this staff will eventually get us back to the playoffs.
