The transitive property is a good way to get your arse beat or lose a ton of $$$. In pro sports, any conference win is a good one. Period.

Texas also has a legit shot of doing something in the playoff.

This is not a given at this point. They’ve still got to navigate their schedule. If they win out, then this statement will have more value.

Ewers got shook vs potential playoff competition already, and Manning is still a wild card.

I'll see if I can explain it to you another way.

Alabama beat Georgia, Vandy beat Alabama, Georgia Beat UTrans, so using your logic, Vandy should beat Utrans.

I'm not sure what that has to do with A&M scheduling App State and Miami instead of Texas...

Ewers got more than shook. 5.9 yd completions to a championship will not take you.

Everyone says Manning sucked just as bad in the UGA game - but hear me out. Sure he had a hard time but hell he only had a couple of series. There was one play where Manning looked different however. He was pressured in the pocket and he took off as if to run. Then in a flash, he dumped it to a receiver without hardly looking at the guy. As a TV viewer, I never saw it coming. The play becomes a 10-15 yard gain. Ewers NEVER makes a play like that.

That's the difference. Manning will get there, but dammit he needs to be in the games. Never mind how he will back up the DB's with those 40 yard ropes that he can throw. The kid has the goods. It's not just Manning-hype, which I was inclined to believe. There's something in those people's genes.

I don’t disagree with you.

Perhaps this isn’t your view, but I’ve definitely seen the “A&M has no good wins” talking point. Just pointing out that if vandy is a good win, then mizzou is a good win.

For the record I think both are good wins.

Agree. Manning also looks physically more able to handle the SEC hits. But with inexperience comes growing pains, so that’s Sark’s dilemma.

A 3 point victory over Vanderbilt tells you that it’s going to be a challenge the rest of the way. You may scoff at Arkansas or Florida, but they have plenty of players who can impact the game.

Just like South Carolina does. Road game for A&M in Columbia is going to be tough.

I do not. Florida scores a lot of points, so that means Ewers better look alive that day. Marching between the 20’s won’t help. Score or GTFO.

Arky will have the crowd reigning down on Ewers. Will he handle it or curl up in a ball? Yes I am concerned about both. Texas defense is more than ready. Its all about Ewers right now.

I'm not too worried about UF. We get them off a bye, and after they just played their most physical/emotional game of the season. I am more worried about Arkansas, I think they have a better shot at beating us than A&M does.

Gotcha. Yeah, I even thought your win against Florida with a freshman QB on the road was a good one.

I hate it when fans have to tear down other teams' (even rivals) accomplishments to prove their case. If that's all you got, either your team sucks or your priorities are all out of whack.

That would be almost as bad as losing to Maryland in back to back seasons.

Very true. It's best when your team is just undefeated in conference play so you don't have to worry about shite like that or who had a worse loss years ago.

I am enjoying the "But, but, Vandy is really good! You need to give us credit for our awesome win in Nashville!" crap though. Vandy is kind of like State, every so often they are decent and everyone cheers for them but no one really takes them seriously. You will learn soon enough little bro.

Have a degree from Auburn. Cousin was All-SEC (2nd team granted). My uncle played at Florida. One SEC AD used to ask us if there were any mistakes in his media guide records before he printed. The current chair of an SEC BOT gave me the picture that hangs on my office wall.

ETA: In those four plus decades of being involved in SEC football, I've learned to respect all conference opponents (see my posts above). Otherwise, you'll get your arse beat like a rented mule.

Aggies will eventually get rigged by the refs, and USCe might do it. If not the cocks then Auburn must take them out for the good of the greater. Beware Aggies. Your storylines are boring and you're about used up.

Bump. Too bad Auburn didnt get to enjoy another win.
