The proof is the timeline. If a kid declares he’s entering the portal before the team plane lands(Sanders and Billingsley) he already had coaches talking to him. It was smart of Pitman to abuse this glaring issue with the transfer portal. It was dumb of him to come after the top teams in his own division. Teams being able to “assist in helping” players find NIL deals while they are on campus at another school needs to be against the rules but currently it’s not. Saban and Kelly didn’t abuse this rule yet(most SEC schools didn’t) but that will all change this year. What sucks is you didn’t just hurt Arkie. Moo St, Tenn, USCe and others will all pay because Arkie likely broke a gentleman’s agreement not to do this. The floodgates will open now. Good luck trying to finish strong against LSU, Ole Miss and Missouri next season while Saban, Kelly, Kirby and Kiffin are telling your top underclassmen how much money they can get in an NIL deal if they transfer after the season. I’m sure they’ll be able to stay focused.

Being an Arkansas fan the past 4-5 years, this is a weird feeling. I actually have hope we might be good next year.

I love the portal. The best programs will be able to fill any recruiting gaps every year causing a bigger gap between the top and the next tier. The problem for the piggies is you are two tiers under that. Pitman is using dirty portal tactics and it’s going to bite him in the arse. Where is there any proof of Pittman(that is how you spell his name)contacting him? There has been no release of an NIL deal with the incoming Alabama player. This would be an assumption/hope/guess/prayer on your part.

Jesus losing sanders really did a number on you. Newsflash dipshit Georgia lost a lot of players to the portal as well right after the title game. It’s because players waited until their season was finished to announce they were transferring, but since you guys and Georgia were still playing ball the guys that were planning to transfer from y’all program hadnt announced yet. Billingsly was a starter and Sanders was in the staring rotation at LB. those guys both played lots of snaps in the Championship game and then declared for the portal right after the game. You are right. They were planning to leave for awhile because Pittman and Sark were recruiting them. How do you not see this?

Literally every person that keeps up with college football believes Pittman is building a dominant program at Arkansas. It’s the reason we’re already ranked in every pre season poll and half have us as a top 10 team. Just admit the only team you keep up with is your own theirs no shame in that
