Auburn would be screwed without him. He would have to shoot Craig to be kicked off the team.
Did you see what Gus did in 2010 with a WR Corp that had a coverted QB and 3 two star WRs. Look at the passing game with Chris Todd. He broke all the passing records, but could barely throw it 15 yards due to an injuried shoulder.

How did that offense do last year in meaningful games w/o Duke? Maybe that means nothing, but it has to at least worry AU fans to think of playing without him.

What about three strikes and all of that?

If you take away the Bama Game (400 yards passing), the problem was not at WR, but Marshall delivering the ball to the WR. I do not think that will be a problem with JJ.

You mean like apologize and run a few extra laps after practice?
This is DUKE we are talking about. Not some DB with multiple DUIs.

Williams never actually hit Dameyune Craig, but he did slap his hand away when coach Craig put his hands in his face. Then Williams verbally assaulted him pretty good.
The ever evolving tale of "what did Duke do". If it were as simple as "slapping Craig's hand away" and "verbally assaulting him pretty good" then he'd have some already completed his discipline and been back on the team.
Craig is Williams' biggest (virtually, only) supporter. Their relationship is such that Craig was not bothered by the words and it wasn't a "slap" of the hand meant to start anything, rather just move the hand and end the convo.
Duke has had multiple - almost continuous - behavioral issues since he's been at AU. This was simply the next in line and it along with a stupid fight over a dice game made Gus say enough is enough. I applaud him for that. Better to control the team now than let the team run crazy like Chiz and Trooper did.

So basically now that you have JJ and Muschamp Auburn is virtually unbeatable.

It's so funny to see the hypocrisy here.
When things of this nature happen with Bama -- and they do -- Saban shuts down the talk with a 'snap', and it doesn't get brought up again. No pontificating about dissension amongst coaches, leniency, etc. It's shut down.
My summary: your fear is palpable. I look forward to the season.

Agreed, but I have heard so many crazy stories about what actually happened. Not saying this one is the absolute truth. But it does sound more believable than the others Ive heard.

This dumbass would have been a millionaire in less than a year. He's too stupid to play major college football.
