He is light years ahead of former starter Maty Mauk and I believe that with Lock and a strong defense, Mizzou will contend for another title in the weak SEC East.

Final Division Predictions:

SEC East

1. Missouri
2. Florida
3. Georgia
4. Tennessee
5. Kentucky
6. South Carolina
7. Vanderbilt

SEC West

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Texas A&M
4. Mississippi
5. Mississippi State
6. Arkansas
7. Auburn

SEC Championship Game:

Alabama 35
Missouri 10

National Champions - Alabama

I understand the excitement, but this sentence right here kills me. Mauk was fricking terrible. If he wasn't better than Mauk, you would have to check him for a pulse.

The Mizzou defense isn't that good.

it could be the toughest we face but i really think thumpin ole could end doing alot for the OL's confidence

if grier is making quick decisions again and they give him a little time its over

but yea i doubt mizzou has nfl talent like ole miss did

Starting a true freshman QB is usually a bad thing.

There are very very few examples of this being a good thing.

Time will tell on Lock. Maybe he'll win the Heisman. Maybe not.

So, your argument is that missouri's defense is better than lsu's? Interesting for several reasons.
