Even though the conference hasn't won one this season, Auburn was in the Football title game, Kentucky in the Basketball title game, and Vanderbilt in the Baseball title game.

1/2 of the MNC game in football was SEC, if the playoff format existed then, likely 1/2 of the SEC would have been SEC. Auburn put up a decent fight, but the became only the 2nd SEC team to lose in the MNC game during the BCS era.

1/2 of the final four in Men's Basketball was SEC. UCONN beat both SEC teams to win the NC.

1/2 of the "final four" in baseball was SEC. Virginia will have to beat both SEC teams to win the NC.

Unfortunately for aggy, the SEC demands more than participation ribbons in these events.
