Because I've seen all of the returning WRs play and know Hunter is better. He is a FREAK! There is no WR in the SEC on his level. (when he is healthy)
Da'rick was the best WR in the SEC last season that returns, and he is the 2nd best WR on his own team. Most Vol fans would say the same.
Thanks for the response. I'll keep an eye on him this coming season.

I think he could be a Julio Jones type player, since he drops the ball too often for his own good.

Are you 7thWard's little brother?

No. Btw, he's a few years younger than me.

Isn't he probably going to Mizzou?
Most likely

Da'Rick led the SEC in catches and yards as a true sophomore and J. Hunter is quite a bit better. Hunter is the most talented receiver I have ever seen at Tennessee.

If he goes to Arkansas. Petrino ain't stupid. You don't have to know the whole playbook to contribute. If he can do something better than the other wide receivers, Petrino will work him in. The more he learns and the more he can contribute, the more he will be worked in.

Cordarelle Patterson should get some consideration
Absolutely. I think the top JUCO WR should be held in higher regard than the top HS WR, or am I wrong?

Depending on where he goes...That said, we also signed the #3 JUCO WR this year

I was under the impression JUCO was a higher difficulty of competition compared to HS. JUCO is filled with players not quite ready for D1 but above the HS level, so it seemed likely that an outstanding player in JUCO would have a good shot at succeeding in university ball. Our recent JUCO pickups have been solid starters from day one: Byrd, Adams, am I right?

It really can't be generalized like this at all. It's a recruit to recruit basis. Lots of JUCO busts happen every year. Some JUCO guys are further ahead of highschoolers but some are just now up to the level of the highschoolers coming out.

Maybe not from DAY 1.
The thing that excites me the most is how Petrino develops receivers. Watch our guys in the Shrine game yesterday and their fundamentals are flawless. Errbody scared of Petrino's receivers.
