If I'm a Tennessee fan, I have to be getting really shite of his shite.

At some point he is going to go too far and get his arse fired and Tennessee will lose the best coach on campus.

The coaches reaction was immature. So many ways he could have responded could have been better. Doesn’t look like a coach with the number 1 ranked team in baseball.

Now the throw of the bat was not aggressive, underhanded towards the other team. More childish looking than anything.

Long history of this type of behavior.

I dunno, I watched the video in the other thread. Him throwing the bat came a lot closer to hitting an Auburn player than the bat flip came to Tennessee.

Both fan bases need to quit acting like a bunch of woke pussies. A Nolan Ryan or Pete Rose would have taken aim at someone’s helmetless head.

If it had hit him it’s was not going hard. I think a player would most likely ignored, started laughing at him or even better pull a soccer player type flop and then get up laughing.

Now I agree. He shouldn’t have done. A player on his team might now do it in the future but with aggression and actually hurt someone. Lead by example.

This has no place in amateur sports, and certainly can’t be tolerated as an employee of an institution for higher learning.

Vols fans can think what they want but there was a reason why LSU didn’t even give him a look. His act is extremely old already and will only continue to get worse. Just wait until they aren’t winning or they are just an average team

I tried to make that point in another thread. If Tenner had a losing record, Booger Candy's actions would be the university's chance to fire him with cause.

Instead, Tenner is winning and don't underestimate the influence it's having on TV. Booger Candy is drawing attention (albeit negative) to the team and the sport at a time when high-priced advertisement is being sold for the postseason.

TV, i.e. the money driving all sports, is loving this. Higher ratings means higher profits. That's why, unfortunately, this clown is going to be allowed to continue to throw his tantrums.

Just watched the video - Vitello was moving to grab the bat before it hit the ground. Enough of this crap about getting into his dugout. He's got some issues, for sure. Little man syndrome perhaps?

Yep, made that point in another thread as well. It had nothing to do with the bat ending up at the Tenner dugout, although Booger Candy made that the issue.

He definitely has issues. The moment he no longer makes money for TV and the university, he will be gone and his career likely over.

It is at that point that he will need to seek help for his mental health. Hopefully he does that and this doesn't end up a real tragedy.

You do understand you can win without having the emotional maturity of a 7 year old right?

But I'm up for learning new things. How have his antics that keep getting attention helped you win?

Hell, I don't even watch baseball, and normally don't know what is going on. But I've heard plenty about your coach being a shitty person this year.
