Please stay on topic here, we are talking about Alabama athletics not your inability to deal with the failures thereof

Anyone who is on the opposite side of fascist Republicans who attempted a coup right here in the USA and now are trying to fix elections by preventing their opponents from voting is a hero in my book. This nation helped defeat fascism in WWII.
Tens of millions of us do not want it re-created on our own soil by Trump-worshipping or democracy-hating cultists who believe every lie, conspiracy theory and various other propaganda that is fed to them by right-wing media in bed with the Russians who want to sow chaos and bring a fascist dictatorship to this country.
This country needs more Nick Sabans. He has more courage in his little finger for taking what may be an unpopular stand in Alabama than former President Heel Spurs will ever have. He was a president who stood for nothing but tax cuts for big corporations and big donors, and lavished praise on every bloodthirsty dictator in the world, including Putin, Kim Jong Un and Erdogan. Trump proudly and loudly told everyone what he is with his words and actions, including an attempted coup on Jan. 6, 2021. He admires dictators and wants to be one here, and most Republicans are all aboard, even if the dictator ends up not being Trump. We don't do dictatorships in this constitutional republic.
Hooray for Nick Saban for taking a stand for democracy and against the enemies of democracy in the Republican Party, which stands for absolutely nothing except holding power. It has no platform, no ideals, no nothing. It's a nihilistic form of fascism that tolerates no dissent within the party. It's a party that breeds a base that thrives on threatening the lives of various public officials they disagree with -- from public health officials to school board members to judges to members of Congress.
So who cares whether Saban backs a D(d)emocratic measure to protect voting rights and make it easier to vote? And by the way, who cares whether some Auburn fans on this site seem like antifa? What's wrong with being anti-fascist? Also, antifa is an idea, not a group, and has no organization or leader, unlike the extreme right-wing hate groups such as the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys.
Nick Saban couldn't care less what some far right-wingers think of him. He marched with his players in 2020 through campus in support of civil rights for black people. That took guts, too. As someone said earlier on this site, Nick Saban cannot be canceled. His life speaks for itself, and it's an honorable and hugely successful one.

Tuberville has nothing to say. He didn't even know exactly where he was his first day in the Senate. Embarrassing for Alabama. Saban would make a far better senator.

You're too dumb to even understand what I was talking about. Do some homework.
