I understand completely...the point is YOU CONTROLLED your own destiny. You did not have to hope for anything to happen for you to get in. All you had to do was win. Thats the only point I've been trying to make. Fair or not you was in the drivers seat!! I would have rather been in your shoes and added an SEC championship to the National Championship. It's you that don't seem to understand what I am saying.

well you and I have a different big picture view. I'm more like the mafia....why take a chance. What if Michigan runs the table...what if USC runs the table...and LSU....you 100% sure LSU gets in...given the media lovefest for michigan and usc....and the dislike of the SEC winning it every year? Would it be ridiculous to keep the SEC out? Of course....but could it happen? Absolutely....

you made it seem like just "win the damn games" as if bama did that. All I said was that was not the case with bama. If the roles were reversed, and LSU had lost to bama in november.....then run the table....and sitting waiting to see who they play in the NC game....that would not been fair to alabama......You are essentially being rewarded for going undefeated by having to play another high risk game while LSU sat at home with a spot locked up......

agreed....but then not really....if they are good enough to beat bama, then it could impact LSU more than you know...depending on how well them and USC do this year....may be a slim chance, but why take a chance at all is my point.

I'm pulling for Bama all season. I hope we barely squeak by on wins and Bama slaughters everyone. When the come to Death Valley I won't them to be ranked #1 and LSU in the 4-5 area. At that point in time I hope LSU unleashes hell on the Tide and prison rapes them by 20+ points.
In reality LSU and Bama will run through everyone by 2+ TD's at least. Then on Nov 3 the game will be decided by 1-8 pts.

Well i apologize that my quote was taken out of context. No, Bama didn't take care of business last november which is why we needed help. We didn't have the game locked up while LSU played in the SECCG. Yes...hindsight tells us that but I would have rather played through like you guys did. We were rewarded because we played a very good and tough team extremely close. I think the 2 best teams in the country played for it even if it was a rematch. That's what we claim to want anyway (the 2 best teams). I see your point but I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on some things.

Hell no not pulling for Michigan....partly because my step-dad is a huge Michigan fan, but mainly because I would love for the SEC to just clobber the B1G
