You can count on Ballard being the leading rusher Saturday. Easily.

Ballard's numbers after 2 weeks will probably be 300 yards and 5Tds and a 2-0 record. Dyer won't be anywhere close to that.
Dyer doesnt have the best QB in NCAA history in the backfield with him either this year. It's going to be much tougher sledding for him.

Didn't we catch hell about game1 last year. Just sayin. I know we didn't look good in that game either. I'm praying that somehow we improve to 7-8 wins this year. The crystal is no where in sight this year of course.
MSU fans: be careful with that lead going into the 4th Saturday.

I do hope your ignorance is only feigned.
Dyer beat Bo Jackson's freshman record while not starting for the first few games and while splitting near equal time with Cam and McCalleb on runs..
This year he will split carries with Ontario again as well as Mason.
Yards do not a RB make.
Dyer is a superior running back. No argument.

Auburn embarrassed the SEC this week. Hope you can come back.

Good thing Ballard has more yards, yards per carry, and TDs then? I guess that doesn't make a RB either.
Coonass is right. Ballard will be the top rusher in our game, probably by 50-70 yards.
We've been calling saying MSU was going to be loaded, and Auburn was going struggle all year. Right now all signs point to us being spot on. Next Saturday isn't going to change that.

So? Bo was a wishbone RB

RB's have to produce- and Ballard is going to produce alot more than Dyer will. aGAIN- he doesnt have everybody keying on Newton to open things up for him- I doubt he get a thousand this year.

Most of the Aubie's including myself made comments that our D and running game need to make adjustments quickly to compete in the SEC. I know I said if we do not it will be a long season. That is hardly counting your team out. If there were worse comments by Aubs that you are speaking of I don't know.
As for non-Auburn fans I wasn't expecting anything else then what was said yesterday. lol
Obviously I am hopeful this was first game troubles, but as you said ugly execution.
It is great to see our team still doesn't quit or give up when down. That is a big intangible to have as a team.

Leave those stupid cowbells at home you are not going to need them. We are going to stomp a mudhole in your arse then walk it dry. That game against the mormons was a setup.
That should get it started.

That should get it started.

Auburn looked terrible and if we play like that, State will beat us by 20. However, I think that fans often over react to the most recent game we have seen. If a team plays good, we don't think they will have a bad game, but always stay the same or get better. MSu should be a clear favorite based on what we have seen so far, but I still wouldn't be surprised at all if AU plays much better Saturday and beats State.

Ballard will get 200 yards on Auburn's swiss cheese D without breaking a sweat. Dyer may not get 100 on us.
Ballard will have better numbers this year than Dyer this year or last year.

I just hope you play well enough so that MSU doesn't hold back. Show us something LSU can use.

I am not taking anything for granted in this game. I think State will win, but I am dismissing no one until we actually beat these teams in the SECW.
Also, the Dyer/Ballard comparisons are pretty interesting. I do think the MSU backs stack up pretty evenly with AU backs. That's nothing against those AU guys because they are darn good, but they will have a lot to prove this year without Newton in the backfield with them.
