No shite.
I thought those were SEC rules...for all sports.
Yeah I'm wondering how stadiums are selling beer.
We have beer in our outfield because University property ends at the outfield wall. It still isn't sold their but fans can bring them in.
People in the suites at Swayze have alcohol but it isn't sold. They put them in their lockers early on Friday and our security is basically just told to look the other way.

Arkansas has sold beer and wine in all the club areas of Razorback Stadium for the past few years.

I wonder what the loop-hole is that allows alcohol to be sold inside the stadium.
Don't get me wrong....I'm not complaining about it at all. I don't see any reason why alcohol can't be sold in club/suite areas.

Maybe Ole Miss doesn't want to get their license to sell or deal with running a bar?
When A&M added the club and suites it has sold.

It was a pleasant surprise this past season when I moved my seats to the SEZ outdoor club and discovered I could buy beer on the concourse and take it back to my seat to drink.

Just looked up the policy and saw where it's just general seating.
Yeah that's dumb for any school to not go ahead and sell booze in club seating.
fwiw Ole Miss might very well be already selling in club seating and I just didn't know about it.
I haven't been to Oxford since 2015.

We aren't selling any in any sport. I sit in south club for football and we still have lockers that we stock ourselves. Suites are the same. Basketball suites and club seating is the same, as is the diamond club. Don't know why they don't try to make money off of it other than just not wanting to dea with it. I'm not mad about it though. Saves me $

Possible.
And if you don't have many suites or club seats, it probably wouldn't be worth the cost.

You can bring in coolers at Dudy Noble and Swayze, couldn’t imagine being a baseball fan outside of Mississippi.
Same at Baum.

That's what I think. Not worth dealing with it unless you do it on a larger scale.

Seems insane they let you bring in coolers. Most athletic programs want money.
That's because your not supposed to have alcohol on state property, their just looking the other way at the coolers. I don't think Swayze is state property, I think it's city.

No but you can bring beer to the outfield if
1. You are a student
2. You have 6 or less
3. Your cooler isn’t too big
4. The Sabath isn’t today, tomorrow, or yesterday
5. It’s in a cup
6. They are 12oz
7. You don’t say anything mean to the right fielder
8. You went to church the week before
9. No children are at the ballpark
10. You pass a breathalizer after each inning
Ok some I made up

Every single year at the SEC baseball Tournament I drink beer up in the VIP area while I look down on you peasants from above.

The stadium is University property.
The outfield wall is the border to City property. That's the only way the University could convince the city to help fund the big Swayze rebuild.
i.e. the outfield follows city alcohol rules/laws. Same as the Grove.

Does Hoover have a VIP? That whole stadium looks like it should be economy.

Yes it does. Sorry you're too poor to have seen it.

Parking deck down third base side.. Park at the top, drink beer, watch games. (NOTE: Is this still allowed?)
