Maybe, but we definitely have the best nose tackle combo. 700+ pounds combined

AU should have a good one - I'm not sure it will surpass UGA/LSU or even Bama's. I guess we'll see when y'all go head to head with all three.

Not with our LB corp. Our front 4 should be great. LBers are very weak right now.

UGA will have the very best DL in the country and I hope they go easy on us and everyone else in the SEC....pray for mercy.

If our lbs can play this year, it is lsu hands down. No one has the depth we do on the line. When we go in the nickle we could make a strong argument because tm7 is basically part of the front 7. UGA may ne the best, but once again has a weaker schedule in the sec than others.

They might. South Carolina's is right there as well as uf, lsu and bama. michigan states will be pretty good as well.

I think UGA has a solid case for it. They have better linebackers than LSU but I think LSU has the better front four. I think Bama has a case as well. Again, I think Bama's linebackers are better but LSU's front four is better.

Alabama has lead the SEC in rush defense 3 of the last 4 years, and was only a yard behind Auburn when they didn't. A more important statistic, yards per rush, Alabama has lead each of the past 4 years.

I just love the experienced depth on this defense, especially in the front 7. I really don't think there is much drop off between 1st and 2 team at many positions. The Cbs may have some growing pains, but as long as the starting safeties hold up, they will have plenty of experienced help. The one thing I have noticed about the various combos showing up in practice is this front 7 is designed to get to the QB quickly with blitzes coming from all different directions.

One half.
