Since the expansion and division split, Alabama is 10-10-1 against Tennessee
Since expansion Bama had to vacate roughly 3 million wins. Is that on the field?

Alabama may have been the best team in the SEC West, but I am not 100% sure.
Agree. Bama was potentially the 3rd best team in the West this year. LSU was just as good, and by the 2nd half of the season, A&M was better.

Thoughts? In this scenario, how would you feel about Team A going to the SECCG over Team B?
Hard to put a team with 2 SEC losses over a team with 1 SEC loss even under your scenario.
Scheduling inequality was a real problem this year. Like Spurrier said, the two teams with the easiest schedule in the SEC this year were the two teams in Atl.
Does not mean they were the best.

It is simple to determine division winners by awarding points for division and OOD games. Division wins are 1 point, OOD wins are .5 points.
The OOD still mean something, but obviously not as much as division games. Most points at the end of conference play goes to SECCG.
For this year:
West
Alabama - 6 points
LSU - 5.5 points
Texas A&M - 5.5 points
East
Florida - 6 points
Georgia - 6 points
South Carolina - 5.5 points
Alabama and UGA go to SECCG.
I know it doesn't change anything if Team A has a harder OOD draw than Team B but it's just another way of looking at how winners could be determined. Of course I'm bias towards this system because SC would've gone to Atlanta last year so that may be why.

I think we should just let LSU play UK 12 times a year, the bitching will not stop until that point anyhow.

Well, here in the real world they just get dropped from our schedule (2012) and get added to yours (2013). Kinda like UGA gets dropped from yours (2012) and gets added to ours (2013).
