I see what your point is, but yall have played such a ridiculous OOC schedule, besides winning the hardest division we may have ever seen, that I personally think it will be one of the most legit titles ever.

No. Only the 'tards would. You know, people who say things like "Bama's Championship is weak, because Colt McCoy got hurt" or "Toby Gerhart's performance this season is clearly better than Mark Ingram's"...

There is a chance that the rest of the country may think that the SEC is down, especially if we don't fare well in the bowls (a distinct possibility if our 2 best teams are playing each other instead of beating up on some OOC teams), and that, therefore, we haven't proven anything just by playing each other for the NC.

Parts of the country will bitch if LSU plays OSU in the NCG, saying Bama had a better resume.

People just love to bitch. If LSU finishes 14-0, there will be bitching that we didn't play the right team, regardless of who it is.

Should not be an issue IMO. Most of the talking heads who lead the sheep insist 'Bama is the best team in the country. I work with a couple of OSU grads who quietly admit that their team would not likely defeat LSU or 'Bama though they like their chances if somehow matched against the Hogs.
