It's weird how LSU fans care more about their players having NFL success than actually winning anything at LSU.
Call me crazy but I want Bama players to play well and win hardware at Bama. I have an NFL team so what Bama players do when they get to the league is pretty meaningless for me unless they're helping my NFL team win.

To a degree. One problem with the way they use Ingram is that when he is in the game he gets it, although they have been a bit better with that this year, and a lot of his runs are of the short down and distance variety when teams stack the box. He was gashing the Cardinals yesterday on 1st down for 4-7 yards when he got the ball

Jeremy Hill is better than Ingram and so is Spencer Ware. I'll give you the other guys.
As of today...
Spencer Ware: 201 attempts, 860 yds, 4.3 avg.
Mark Ingram: 167, 850, 5.1
Jeremy Hill: 215, 831, 3.9
LSIxU RBs fricking suck.

Mark Ingram has had a couple of good years, but he's not a great back. Not really even a good back. He's averaging 674.2 yards per season.
By comparison, Jeremy Hill is averaging 916.3 yards per season.
Currently, Ingram is having a better year than Hill. Ingram has improved as a player, but I'm not sure he'I'll be remembered as anything more than a serviceable back.

Career stats, through yesterday
Mark Ingram: 915 attempts, 4045 yds, 4.4 avg
Jeremy Hill: 660 attempts, 2749 yds, 4.2 avg
Ingram is averaging 153 carries a year, Hill averages 220. Ingram averages 674.2 yards per season to Hill's 916.3. If Ingram was given the attempts that Hill has received, Ingram would be averaging 968 yards a year, or 5808 total yards.
Ingram's lack of carries is due somewhat to injury, but he has been misused in NO. No wonder he was pissed yesterday.

Joe Alleva is still LSU's athletic director.

I don't recall Ingram ever bailing on his team before a bowl game.
Did he show up against Utah?
I can't remember.

It was an uninspiring Heisman win. Just like his professional career. Nothing spectacular.

Oh snap! The Utah game!
Completely ruined Bama's program
