Does Palmer Hate LSU?

He has them finishing 5th in the West, I know we always joke about tDecline and how real it is, etc. But surely this is some failed troll attempt... Seems like LSU will at the very least be 4th behind The Alabama schools and A&M. No way MSU or Ole Miss jumps them.

No..he's usually very positive about LSU & displays great knowledge of our program. As for his prediction, if it's "solely" based on lack of experience, I can't really argue.

I've never seen him make outlandish statements like this before regarding LSU (unlike Robert Smith), but yeah he's really reaching with that prediction. i mean it's not impossible but pretty silly to predict that happening if he's an analyst who hopes for people to respect his opinion

Why wouldnt I, history says Ole Miss cant beat us, and MSU has got to be the most overrated team coming into the season in the SEC.

It's not outlandish until it doesn't happen so just hold your horses till the end of the season.......or the 4th game of the year when reality sets in

A lot of espn's college football writers and analyst are terrible, but Palmer might very well be the worst

There is no such thing as being overrated in the preseason. Now if we only win 7-8 games, yes we would be overrated, but you just don't know at this point.
