Also, we ain't Syracuse. We ain't Eastern Michigan. We ain't Mississippi State. At least try to be objective.

The only thing that is in question with LSU is the passing game. Which I could care less about.
Les will run, run and run some more against Bama.
You could, or couldn't care less about it? Because, as a knowledgeable football fan, I'm sure you know that it's very tough to run against a good defense if that defense doesn't respect your passing game. Yes, even with a Fournette.

last year with little success.
The last 80 seconds of that game was a complete collapse by LSU.
Do you define 'little success' as being taken to overtime by a team that struggled to 8-5?

It certainly wasn't your running game that took us to overtime. I seem to remember your defense played well for most of the game and didn't Malachi score the only TD for LSU?

How can you not worry about passing the ball? Do some of you really think you can beat Alabama by just running it 60 times? How many one dimensional teams beat elite teams? If LSU cannot pass on UA, they lose. Simple as that.
Passes will be completed, and Les will run the ball and play to his teams strength.
Why is this so hard to understand?

56 rushes 183 yards 3.3 ypc 0 TD's. Yep, "little success. The only TD for LSU came thru the air.

I'm not knocking Bama's defense, it's good. Great for y'all.
Les will run the ball. It's not a surprise.

His only choice, but a bad choice. At least against Bama.

It's not hard to understand. It's hard to understand you thinking you can be one dimensional and beat Alabama on the road, against the best defense in the country.

Nah, Les has plenty of options in the passing game. It's hitting the opportunities at the right time that matter most. Les will force the run, to stay in the game late.

I guess that's why the game is played.

Would concern me greatly if I'm an LSU fan. Georgia tried that last week and we saw the results.

Duly noted.

Fournette can run against anybody. I have no doubt he will go over a 100 yds but you will have to throw the ball and force turnovers. The team that can do that will win.

Fournette could play in the NFL this Sunday. If he knew the playbook he would be an upgrade at RB for at least a third of NFL teams. I'm serious.

A third?

I'm not worried about our offense against Bama. It surely will not be what we've seen against these crappy defenses, but we'll be productive. I worry more about our defense stopping Bama's running game.
Conversely, Bama should be worried about that Kiffin offense turning the ball over and that secondary.

a lot of LSU fans seem to have convinced themselves that passing really isn't that important and that they can win it all without a passing game. It's delusional, this isn't 1995. Also LSU's o-line is much better than what we are used to but it isn't as good as many of the fans seem to believe.

We need to go 5 wide and make them play straight up in the box.
I'm not sure the respect is there for the passing game. You'll probably have keep your tight ends in to block.
