I want him out of BR by next week. If not, I'm transferring to another school. I will not receive a degree of higher education at a university who's football department has a head coach who loses in the national championship.

Definitely a valid reason to be fired.

He is 75-18, with 2 SEC Titles, 3 West Titles, 2 BCS Bowl wins (5 Bowl wins overall) and 1 National Title in his 7 years at LSU. He is bringing in great recruiting classes, and is headed into his 8th year as pre-season top 1 or 2. Yeah, I'd say that was competitive.

Why in the world would you start such a dumbass thread?
You know, I love the Ole Ball Coach, but one would have to question some of his coaching decisions lately too. Like his great time management with Auburn last year.
Actually, if you look real close all coaches screw up. Miles is ultra high profile. Everything he does is put under a microscope. Of course, he screws up, all coaches do.
But..... Why would any coach coming off a conference championship, 13 win season be on a freaking leash as you say?
How many times does his teams have to win 11+ games in a season (he has 5 in 7 years) for people to realize the man can flat out coach?

...and best yet he apparently is ditching that mid life red carpet thing he had going and letting his hair be a normal grayish...for the fashion sensitive.

Steve Spurrier at USC would need to magically erase 17 losses and then somehow win 20 straight games to equal Les Miles record at LSU.
