Does kicking LSU out negate SEC’s TV contracts?

It would be renegotiated. But outside of the tv deal, you have advertisers, stadium sponsors, ticket holders, NIL agreements, and many other deals that all lose value by going from a 9-game to an 8-game conference schedule. Not to mention schedules, travel, and institutional and private investment in sports other than football. It would all have to be re-worked.
The downstream effects would be a colossal shite show, and the SEC would be opening themselves up to litigation from everyone with even a fraction of a stake

No when ESPN tries to renegotiate and brings up losing LSU then the SEC says oh yeah and we also added Texas and Oklahoma so we think you owe us a little more money.

Really kills the LSU argument about the current TV exposure. They already added a lot more than what would be lost.

Not with the pro-rata I wouldn't think. We're not being paid more with UT and OU in our conference atm.

ESPN added $ when Texas and Oklahoma were added so they can push to take it away.

Were they not already in the conference when the present contract was signed?
