Does It Seem Like Most Analysts Are Picking Clemson? It kind of does to me. Why?

All respect to Clemson. They've earned it. But it just kind of seems like as the week goes on that most analysts and talking heads are picking Clemson to win. Its interesting. Or, are they just trying to stir up controversy.
Of course they have a good shot. They are the defending national champ. I get it. Just wondering why the tide seems to be turning with so many Clemson predictions.

I just assumed it was cause LSU fans are only coming and posting the people picking against them so I was getting a skewed view.

They're picking clemson because they watched the alabama game and they know, despite Alabama's best efforts to lose bigly, the game came down to an onside kick. Lsu could barely beat the most broken alabama football team nick saban has had. Well clemson isn't broken and they're at full strength or close to it.
Lsu was just one of dylan moses or josh mcmillon away from losing that game and everyone knows it. Clemson wins because they'll get the stops Alabama's injured defense couldn't get.

I mean, there are a lot of reasons why somebody would pick Clemson. They are talented. they have NC experience.
I think LSU will beat them, but Clemson will be the best team LSU will face this year, probably.

The dude asked a question, he got an answer. Clemson plays elite offense in their own right and their defense is better than lsu's. They'll get the stops Alabama couldn't get and they won't gift lsu with a walk on, back up punter and a severely broken defense. A defense so broken in fact, transfer portal guys actually got a chance to start. All that shite and the game still came down to an onside kick.
It was said by everyone, all season that if lsu couldn't beat this fricked up Alabama team, they never would. Well clemson isn't fricked up, not even a little.
