Grime Scene Unit/Da Bomb Squad is eating at LSU. How do Aubies feel about that? Auburn's OL looks like hot gar-bage.

Nah... No need for a great OL coach since they have the best OL in the SEC.

Our two top running backs averaged just under 5 yards a carry with zero passing game

Auburn fans told me Grimes wasn't a good oline coach.

He wasn't exceptional at Auburn but not necessarily bad

Their QB can't throw. LSU can just send 8 guys all day. Common sense or something.

no Grimes likes man blocking schemes Gus offense is more about zone blocking and pulling linemen

He's also been an ace recruiter at LSU

Jeff Grimes has run more zone blocking scheme than ever at LSU. He's a zone run coach. You're a fool.

Grimes had mixed results at Auburn. The 2009 and 2010 offensive lines were good. The 2011 and 2012 offensive lines were shite. The 2013 offensive line we had under our current coach was better than any group under Grimes

I don't know why the Aubbie hate exists for Grimes, I just know that Virginia Tech, whom LSU hired Grimes from, was very sad to see him go.

Grimes was definitely one of the better recruiter under Chizik. Auburn has had a roster full of 4 and 5 star offensive lineman the last few years and he recruited a lot of them

Sometimes a change of scenery is best for all parties, and Grimes may just be more effective with the philosophy LSU implements.

I'm not clicking your link because I'm assuming it's a YouTube clip of LSU doing something nice against our OL.

Even the best lines give up sacks. Our OL haven't been world beaters but they've given JJ time to throw and have supported our run game so far. Can't ask for much more.

What were you hoping to get out of this thread? He's just an OL coach
