i don't think that has been true in the modern era. i'll give you 1890s- 1960 or so.

That's fricking 70 years. You can't just wash it away just because it was unpleasant for you. Auburn leads Clemson 10-3 since '61. What are you even talking about?

i can assure you the decades prior to my birth were not unpleasant for me. lol

Clemson is 3-3 in the most recent 6 games that started with one in 1998.

prior to tha tbowl game in 98, the teams had not played since 71. obviously never played Clemson in its best decade, the 80s.

When Clemson won the natty in 81, it was about 10,000 students, smaller than College of Charleston.

when has Clemson ever turned anybody down? we've done home and aways with UGA, AUburn, got Texas Am up next

Like I said...how do you know? I'm sure Clemson has turned down a lot of potential big games. Every major program does. Its about money and if the money is not right...a lot of big games don't happen

Nice to see Clemson did something about that 12 or so game losing streak to AU

Gets boring when you regularly curb stomp your opponent. Sort of like when Alabama plays L6U, just no excitement

as i've said, they haven't been curb stomping Clemson in modern era, they largely have not even been playing.

Clemson has won 3 in a row and most likely wins at Clemson this year.

perhaps that is why Auburn fans complain about playing CLemson 'so much' lol

i believe our AD would make LSU happen if LSU wants it.

has LSU ever aggressively scheduled good teams for home and aways OOC? I don't recall it. maybe Virginia Tech?

if CU made UGA, AUburn, Texas AM work, why not LSU too.

it would be interesting for Clemson to play a PAC 10 team, especially Oregon, Stanford and USC. we never play PAC 10 in football. I figured a game with Stanford would have happened by now b/c Dabo is friends with that coach.

I just wish Bama would do more home and homes. I dont like the neutral sites

The neutral site games were good for the first couple of years when Saban was trying to recruit those areas. But now the name recruits itself.

Ya, our win streak would have been a lot bigger than 12 if we had

Clemson played ND two season ago, where you stated 'no p5'. highly ranked team.

there would have been a p5 on there otherwise.

you also didn't include SC, a team Clemson plays every year whilst LSU has no yeary OOC rival from p5.

granted, SC often doesn't seem like p5. lol

how many programs would schedule two SEC programs OOC.

Clemson is coming.

CLemson actually had series with Ole Miss and Okla State scheduled but had to cancel them to stay at 7 home games.

If I remember correctly, ND is obligated to play what 5 or 6 games against ACC opponents every year. Its not like the Clemson AD and the ND AD got together one day and said lets play. The ACC scheduled that matchup just like they did or will do with the rest of the members of the ACC.

As far as South Carolina, I did not include them because it is a in-state rivalry every year. Both were playing each other well before the SEC. Sorta like VT and UVA before VT joined the ACC.

i know it was scheduled by the league but Clemson plays a P5 if not.

how often does LSU play two P5 teams OOC in regular season?

the 'cheating' didn't have anyhting to with players on the natty team.

one of the things Danny Ford got into trouble was he and the vice president of the school got a player some emergency dental care after he was in some off field accident that busted up his teeth, and his parents didn't have insurance.

it was such small fry stuff like that. the NCAA used to do witch hunts.

So..all of their cheating was done prior to 1976?
