Sure, which is why no one should be eliminated this weekend, either.

Based on what you are than the final ranking should come out Tuesday and the conference CG should have no value or purpose regarding the playoffs.

So you believe OSU could not beat TCU, UGA, or USC? See not all conferences are equal either which the committee has demonstrated they believe some conferences are stronger.

Correct.

That's not how I think it should work. If we want that, why play the season?

Just give everyone the year off and then guess who would beat who.

They have lost their last two matchups to Michigan by 15 in 2021 and 22 this year. Michigan has scored 42 and 45 respectively in those games. Michigan is not a juggernaut offense. Ohio St stopped recruiting defense when Urban “resigned,” and it been showing up the last two years. The committee will not put them in.

Hence why we are going to a 12 team playoff because to many in positions to make decision do not want the season to matter.

Pretty much everyone besides Ohio St had 2 losses on 07. Totally different argument.

AL has 3 wins over P5 teams with winning records. Three, and those teams are all 8-4

TCU has wins over 4 P5 teams with winning records.

Ohio State has 4 wins over P5 teams with winning records, 1 of which is a win over a team that will be in the top 10 Tuesday.

To overcome their extra loss AL would need much better wins. 2007 LSU & 2017 Auburn had much better wins than AL. Tennessee got smoked by UGA and they fell to 5, OSU isn’t falling to 6. UGA led that game throughout. Ohio State had the lead in the 3rd quarter. The margin of victory came in the 4th.

Tennessee's losses were way worse by the eyeball test. USCe lapped them.

Nope, we will leap frog those pussies on the way to a natty if we get a break. I think the committee knows the refs screwed us in the UT game and they will
Consider that.

UGA scored 3 td’s in the first 20 minutes of game time, Tennessee didn’t score their first TD till 4 mins left in the game. UGA passed the ball 4 times in the second half. That was domination.

Six teams was the right answer.

P5 champions and highest G5 champion. Done.

So you believe 4 loss non ranked Purdue should be allowed in?

Yet OSU nor UA deserve to get in according to your opinion

No, I think divisions in college football should be eliminated.

But that's up to each conference if they'd rather put Purdue or LSU up as their champion.

Y’all lost two games. They deserve to be in over y’all.

South Carolina has a better resume (in terms of wins) than BAMA and will be ranked next vote. Tennessee has a better resume despite losing to SC. tOSU's resume sucks but it's better than the mental gymnastics that would come from putting BAMA in the playoffs.

But theyre not, as we saw on last week’s rankings, and nothing has happened to change that. No need to belabor the point.

Oh there's a need. The same thing that kept BAMA ahead of an undefeated TCU but Tennessee behind them. That shite NEEDS to be belabored as does a lot of the BS in CFB.

I agree but with conferences over 13 teams no way everyone can play each other each season so no value as you could not have a true champion in each conference.

The committee should only take a P5 champion if they are ranked in the top 12 in the final ranking. Other wise they will be a guaranteed spot for them.

But the conference powers to be could care less who deserves to be there but getting their teams in for the money pay off.

The AP poll just dropped and guess who is above Bama. OSU is ahead of Bama. Take off your Crimson colored glasses and wake up.

you're forgetting that the people that decide know nothing about football and care only about money.
