Talking to Lane Kiffins agent?
Good move?
Like him or not Lane is a pretty damn good coach in the SEC. He wins the games he’s expected to.

Going to say. If Auburn doesn’t stroke a check in his way they are fricking up once again.

ETA: JetDawg. Agent instead of manager.

Yes, but not his manager. It's his agent.

Why would Kiffin go to Auburn? It would be a Lateral move to a program in shambles.

Auburn better get busy lining up someone. Harsin may be packing for Arizona State job. I

It’s not a lateral move. I’m just speaking as a fan of the sport. I know Auburn. I know it is a place that can win. Yes I am a Alabama fan, but Auburn holds so much potential. Give Kiffin about 2 years. He will be one of the best. I don’t want Auburn to suck. I just want good games in the SEC competing with each other.

I hear Missouri is talking to Sam Pittman and Vanderbilt is talking to Jimbo and Tennessee is talking to Kirby also but keep these and the Kiffin to Auburn news quiet please.

One think for sure is Lane will be richer due to Harsin, regardless if he comes to Auburn or not. He should really send a Christmas card every year to the Harsins.

Definitely a lateral move given the state of Auburn. Not sure it will ever recover

I don't suppose any of the 13 other Kiffin - Auburn threads were enough for you.

I don't think anybody but Ole Miss fans think OM to AU is a lateral move.

He could ask Tommy Tuberville for advice on the matter.

As a prior poster said, given the current state of Auburn, it definitely IS a lateral move.

AU people have been in talks with Freeze since the Spring. I am sure the same people are talking to Kiffins people. AU did not want to be caught with their pants down this time, especially if Harsin doesn't make it to the end of the season.

I don't know but hope not. After what Lane Kiffin did to Tennessee he has shown that he cannot be trusted.

Lane will use Auburn to get a bigger raise at Ole Miss, but he’s happy as a clam

It is not a lateral move because you cant go off of the last three seasons when making that determination. The only reason it even resembles one is that Lane Kiffin has Ole Miss playing above their historical average and Harsin has Auburn playing below theirs. Kiffin reverses that the minute he signs.
