Are the LSU fans living vicariously through Auburn, or is Arkansas? Because last I checked Arkansas crumbled under the pressure of playing BDS.

last i checked that was two seasons ago and a pretty different team but bama fans do like living in the past.

vicariously through Auburn,

you guys brought up how loud the stadium was and i simply pointed to the fact that our new QB had seen worse than what BD has to offer.

If Miles can't get the upper hand in Petrino's first three seasons (during Miles's 4th-6th seasons), how well do you think he will fare against Petrino in Petrino's 4th-6th seasons? I'm going to go out on a limb and say he goes 1-2 again over the next three seasons.

you act like petrino is a first year coach or something. correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't he a head coach in the nfl? and it's not like he came in with no players and has progressively recruited better personel that needed time to mature. since getting to arkansas, he's had the 36th, 16th, 49th, 24th rated classes. so he's pretty much carried on the status quo of nutt's recruiting. also, do you have any idea how loaded lsu is and that they're an early favorite to win the nc next year and will prob be even better in 2012. all i can say is good luck winning any games against lsu the next 3 years

Well we could bring up how Arky choked in their own house last year if you want

we got a new qb and a running game now. we learned a couple of things from that game though...
1. knile davis was way underutilized.
2. mallett didn't like to dump off if he thought he could squeeze it into triple coverage.

TW is more of a game manager who doesn't mind hitting the dump offs and screens to get positive yards.

This is not fair. They will win 1/3 to carry on their 37% winning percentage (and talk all kinds of shite on here after the 1 win of course).

Until Petrino's Arkansas actually beats Saban, it doesn't matter if the game is on the far side of the Moon.

If you don't think 103,000 in the stands is intimidating, I guess we'll have to watch another QB crumble under the pressure to convince you.

I guess 10 starters returning from the nation's #3 scoring defense and #7 total defense isn't good enough of an argument, huh?

And Saban's ability to field top ten defenses year in and year isnt't either? Yet, Petrino's reputation will magically turn Wilson into Joe Montana? GTFO

While it's possible, how on earth would you know this without even starting spring practice yet?

Injuries could happen, milner could still suck, Green could frick up and get kicked off, You just can't claim that.

Now if you land Clowney then all my points above are meaningless because he is a like slothmettwolverine's Kyrptonite

Yes and we are returning about 9 starters on a defense that was in the top 10 nationally last year
