I travel for a living, and have yet to have anyone laugh at the SEC or any team in the conference. and ive been to ohio since the Sugar Bowl.
i think the "embarrassment of the SEC" comment is vastly overplayed. 90% of the fans outside the SEC could give 2 shits.

I was in Texas watching the game with a Big 10 fan. So yes, I was embarrassed when I had to pick up the bar tab for losing a bet.

For realz, I hate that we lost... I wouldn't say I was embarrassed because we went toe to toe with them but that game hurt my heart. I'm over it now, though. Hopefully, Arkansas will start to trend upwards in the bowl wins... our history sucks and we know it.

I respectfully disagree. Hog fans did the the thing with the overtime win on '07. I will say they had more to celebrate then because LSU was ranked really high back then and we had a very good QB. I don't even think we were favored against Arky in Little Rock this year. IMO, Arky has played spoiler at best for many teams in the SEC, but I don't think many teams outside of Vandy/OM think "oh shite we have to play Arkansas this week!"
