We need some clarity on this from A&M fans.

How many years are they going to put up with losing to Nick? I mean will they let it get to the point where Nick is 80+ years old and coaching from a rocking chair on the sideline and still beating Jimbo?

Jimbo has 80 years or he’ll be in trouble. That’s the kind of timeframe pretenders operate with.

Nobody's firing a 11-1 coach simply for not being able to beat Saban. It just all depends on what he does with the rest of the schedule.

Baby steps OP. I think they would settle for a 9 point loss before they start expecting a win

3rd or 4th place in the West is the gold standard for atm.

If Saban sits in a rocking chair will he get taller?

I’d say within 3 years (including this year) is a very strong probability, but then again I don’t think you started this thread seeking honest responses.

We will most likely be favored in 11 games……

I bet we drop one we aren’t supposed to but your response is nonsensical when looking at the odds. People tend to be a little more honest when money is involved, huh?

The last coach whose top goal was to only beat Nick Saban is at UCF now. We want to win them all. Doesn't matter who.

My point being that it's about the overall record, not Saban. If TAMU goes 11-1 with a loss to Saban, he's fine. If they go 1-11 with the only win being against Bama, he's not.

The A&M crowd expects Jimbo to beat Nick this season. Nothing short of a SEC title for the Aggies.

Most fans with solid success the previo us season expect their team to have a good shot at running the table. I can understand why a Texas fan wouldn't understand this though. :)

Sure, depending on what you had in mind? I would take the over on the official 9.5 regular season wins.

I have no idea, you brought it up.

I thought you would have had something in place.

This is the correct answer. Jimbo has the program on the right trajectory but the next 2-3 years will determine if he can take it up to the next level. Plenty of reason for optimism based on the talent in place and the recruiting but we will see.
