Does A and M have a chance to be the number 1 team in the west next year?

If you can beat Alabama on Sept. 14, there's a chance. But you still have to go to Arkansas (depending on how they are doing) and to LSU. I think A&M will have to beat both Bama and LSU to represent the West. Is there a chance? Yes. Likely? No.

Before you start another thread, the answer is after Saban leaves.

No. You will be waiting a long time for that to happen. That's if it ever happens at all. This year may be A&Ms ceiling. Auburn and Arkansas won't be down long and MST and OM might have found coaches that have figured it out. Of course, this is just my opinion. Roll Tide!
